Background

"Lucia"

      Artist and friend, CT Whitehouse asked me to create a portrait of his first granddaughter, Lucia. This became a delightful collaboration. We started with a photograph of Lucia when she was new-born and created a composition that includes the hands of both her parents. The circular forms and the waxing crescent moon all speak to the central and unfolding nature of this new relationship.
